The one-way drive takes approximately 3 hours. The full-day tour usually lasts 10–12 hours, including travel time and about 3–4 hours of sightseeing in Pamukkale and Hierapolis.

ou can walk on the terraces barefoot on designated paths, but swimming is not allowed to protect the natural site. However, you can swim in the Antique Pool (Cleopatra’s Pool) inside Pamukkale for an extra entrance fee.
Bring your swimsuit and a towel if you plan to use Cleopatra’s Pool. Wear light, comfortable clothing and sturdy sandals or water shoes (the travertine can be slippery and hard on bare feet). Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and your camera.
